LAKE JACKSON, Texas – Colorado supporters of 2012 Republican Presidential applicant Ron Paul have teamed up with earlier White House wannabe Rick Santorum, counteracting moderate Mitt Romney’s supporters in a battle over how the Centennial State will represent itself at the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
The move represents the diminished confidence of many Republican activists who are unhappy with Washington insiders’ inflated pressure to coronate an establishment candidate rather than pursue a discussion over whether an authentic conservative will play a pivotal role at the summer’s RNC.
Colorado Republicans split delegate votes between Romney, unified Paul and Santorum supporters

Colorado Republicans are heading to their national convention with their most conservative delegation in years, as supporters for Ron Paul and Rick Santorum masterminded a stunning upset in electing delegates.
At the state convention in Denver today, Paul forces easily were the most vocal, adding their candidate’s name at almost every opportunity. When Republicans sang “Hey, hey, hey, good-bye” to President Barack Obama, Paul backers changed the words to “Hey, hey, hey, Ron Paul.”
The momentum was painful for Mitt Romney supporters, who had assumed when Santorum dropped out of the presidential race this week they’d have a much easier time in winning Colorado’s delegate and alternate seats to the Republican National Convention in Tampa in August.
Instead, some of the Santorum’s supporters united with Paul’s backers to form the “Conservative Unity Slate” to win a slew of delegate slots. Four years ago, only one Paul supporter was elected to attend the national convention.
“This is a revolution,” said Florence Sebern of Denver, an “unpledged” delegate who was wearing a Paul pin. She was part of the slate.
Slate supporters said they wanted to send a message to Romney about the importance of sticking to conservative values.
More than 800 Republicans — easily double the number who sought to attend the RNC in 2008 — ran for the 33 elected delegate and 33 elected alternate slots.
At congressional assemblies Thursday and Friday, Republicans elected 21 delegates and 21 alternates. Thirteen of the 18 winning delegates elected Friday were on the Paul/Santorum unity slate…

The Hill newspaper, which covers Congress when it is in session, said John Bowles had registered with House and Senate offices as a representative of the “ANP,” according to disclosure records.
The records said that he planned to lobby on “political rights and ballot access laws,” and other issues such as civil rights, healthcare and immigration.
“You know, congressmen and congresswomen have always been telling the American public that they were open to other viewpoints,” Bowles told The Hill. “I’m going to see if they were sincere about that, or I’m going to call their bluff.”
Bowles was a presidential candidate in 2008 for the National Socialist Movement, according to US News and World Report. Nazi comes from the German words for National Socialist.
He told The Hill that people in America did not understand the term socialism, but knew what Nazism was.
“So [we] decided: Why don’t we just say what we are?” he added. “In the future, when we get people on the ballot, when people see the swastika on the ballot, they’ll know what they’re getting."

Attorneys made arguments before a three judge panel today in Sacramento on whether postings on Facebook are constitutionally protected.
The case involves a jury foreman on a case in which five men were convicted in a gang beating. That juror posted observations during jury deliberations, which were seen by another juror on the trial that he befriended on Facebook.
During a court hearing in which the juror was given immunity, he admitted to the posts, one of which he said the proceedings were "boring."

Facebook refused to comply with a subpoena seeking his posts, and another court ruled that a subpoena of the information from the juror's attorney was “overbroad." The trial judge then ordered the juror himself to turn over the posts.
The juror's attorney, FOX40 legal analyst Ken Rosenfeld, argued the Stored Communications Act protects online communications on social media sites like Facebook. He also asserted that the request by the judge was a violation of First and Fourth Amendment rights to free speech and privacy.
When Rosenfeld was asked by one justice if the federal law even applied because Facebook was not forced to turn over the material, he contended that the law applies both to Facebook and the individual using it.
"We have to have a fair system in which jurors can feel comfortable knowing that their private lives are not going to be intruded upon in reaching verdicts and making decisions," Rosenfeld told FOX40.
But attorneys for the five men who were convicted say their clients also have a constitutional right to a fair trial. They say the juror disregarded daily instructions not to communicate anything about the case and there was other evidence that he acted to prejudice the decision. Justice Louis Mauro asked if there shouldn't be some balance in the rights of the juror and those of the defendants.
Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, who courted conservative controversy with a video short showing the sometimes racist views of toothless Mississippi rednecks, has enraged liberals with a second video: New York welfare recipients.
But Alexandra Pelosi admits it wasn’t easy getting the video on television. “All the people I work with at HBO, all the people I grew up with, said, ‘You can’t put that on TV.’
“Somehow [I was] allowed to do it to the toothless rednecks, but when it was our neighbors, it was wait a second, they got defensive,” she told Bill Maher on his HBO show, “Real Time.”

Pelosi was attacked by conservatives for being selective in the people she depicted in her video from Mississippi. One man in that video said, “This is America, our president should be American, not Muslim.”
Pelosi said the film showed the entitlement culture is causing problems for the party her mother leads in the House. “We have to address the fact that this is why Democrats are losing ground. And this is a problem in America. The entitlement culture has gotten so big that we are losing our own people,” she said.
The Emmy-nominated documentary maker also predicted outrage among her fellow liberals, saying she expected “a left-wing feeding frenzy” about her report.
Ron Paul’s inability to win a single state through this election season is now affecting his ability to raise money.
February fundraising figures show Paul raised about $3.3 million for the month, less than the $4.5 million in January and beginning March with $1.6 million on hand.
The Texas congressman’s campaign filed the report with the Federal Election Commission tonight, four days before the March 20 deadline.
Paul had been a prolific fundraiser. By the end of January he had raised $31 million, placing his second to Mitt Romney among his GOP rivals.
The bulk of the money coming from small-dollar donations, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a non-partisan, non-profit research group dedicated to tracking money in U.S. politics.
Paul’s campaign does not have “bundlers,” people assigned to raise large amounts of money for the campaign.
Politico reported earlier this month that Endorse Liberty, one of the large Super PAC’s supporting Paul was reassessing its heavy financial support.
Endorse Liberty has tried to use online advertisements to broaden Paul’s appeal. But the Super PAC too is running thin on available cash. Through January, it reported less than $61,000 on hand.

Today I am announcing that I will be running for Mayor, In the city of Stockton, California. This will mark my 4th year living in stockton, the All-American City. I fell in Love with this port-side town while I was commuting here from Manteca during my years at Delta College.
My First Semester at the school, I was privileged enough to sign up for a psychology class with Dr. Blanchard. She was a fiesty lil-Oriental Lady, who had a dictatorial image about the way she taught that seems almost enriched somehow. Well I learned a lot from her, especially the social life of a socialite. She asked me to be a busboy at a reception she was holding for Dennis Cardoza, A District Representative in the 18th district of California. I agreed to participate, and help set the tables and break them down afterwards.
Going to a Congressional Dinner, held by the wealthiest patrons in our surrounding areas. And did they know how to Party. There were Cases of wine from all the local grower's, Corona's, New-York Steaks, Caviar, and the list goes on, it wasn't the nicest event I've partaken in, but definitely the funnest. I met the Congressman on the Casino side of the Boat, where he asked me to join him in playing roulette, and later taught me how to play Craps. What happens in Stockton, Stays in Stockton, Really this was a charity event, so it was all fun and games.
This is what got my interest focused on public office, politics, and the key issues that take away from what moral standards we still see today. After soaking up everything around me for the past four years, and not changing my set core values, I believe I am ready to take on these challenges that are still ahead. I decided to run for the office of Mayor this year, because I am fed up with what we are being told. I want accountability from these elected officials that were carelessly taking our Country Joyriding with not a care in the world.
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Josh Buckley, chief executive of an online gaming start-up, is looking forward to next month's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, particularly for the parties and the accompanying schmoozing with industry A-listers.
There's one problem: Buckley, who will turn 20 this week on February 22, may be turned away from many of the parties because he is not old enough to drink. His fake ID was recently confiscated, and the two new ones he ordered from a company in China have not yet arrived.
Such are the dilemmas facing the ever-younger entrepreneurs that Silicon Valley investors are backing these days. While little data on the phenomenon exists, venture capitalists say they are funding more chief executives under age 21 than ever before.
"At a certain point, they can't get much younger or we're going to be invested in preschool," quipped Marc Andreessen, whose venture-capital firm Andreessen Horowitz is one of several that backs Buckley's company, MinoMonsters.
Andreessen and other venture capitalists say the entrepreneurs they fund at 18 or 19 typically have been prepping for years -- learning computer code, taking on ambitious freelance projects and educating themselves on the Internet.
Some are self-consciously molding themselves in the image of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, 27, who created computer games as a child and was taking a graduate-level computer course by his early teens.
Internet businesses that target consumers make a sweet spot for the baby-faced, because online companies often require relatively little capital. A semiconductor start-up might require $10 million to $20 million in the early stages, noted Joe Kraus of Google Ventures, and that would be tough even for the most talented youngster.
