He is Still a Citizen! Making a case why Kanye West deserves to be in Jail

January 31, 2014 11:33 PM
Associated Press

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kanye West will not face criminal charges over an incident in which he apparently punched a man in a Beverly Hills chiropractor's office, prosecutors determined Friday.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office rejected a battery case against the rapper because he had reached a civil settlement with the man and there were no significant injuries documented after the altercation.

I think this is complete Hogwash. It doesn't Matter that they settled in a civil lawsuit. He should still be charged for his CRIME, it is a misdemeanor. The District Attorney who is dropping the charges, even though Kanye West is still currently fighting another Assault and Battery case, which he is on Informal Probation.

For us Citizens, if we were caught committing a same or like-able offense while on probation, it's automatic sentencing. Why should he get special treatment?
